Policies, Waivers & Client Terms
Please review these terms before booking, registering, paying, joining a membership, or participating in a program.
Booking and confirmation
A submitted booking or registration is a request unless the page explicitly states that direct payment completes enrollment. Appointment requests are not confirmed until THE F.I.L.M. provides written approval, availability, and any required access information.
Payments and no refunds
Payments, deposits, event tickets, memberships, workshops, digital products, and program fees are non-refundable unless THE F.I.L.M. cancels the offering and states otherwise in writing. A client who cannot attend may request a transfer or credit; approval is not guaranteed and depends on the specific offering.
PayPal and payment confirmation
Clients must use the payment link assigned to the correct item. THE F.I.L.M. may request a PayPal transaction or receipt ID to match a payment with a registration. Customized programs and spa services may be invoiced separately.
Program scope and professional boundaries
THE F.I.L.M. provides educational, consulting, leadership, empowerment, journal, wellness-coordination, and community-program services. These services do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical, mental-health, legal, financial, clinical, therapeutic, emergency, or special-education services.
Youth participation and parent authorization
A parent or legal guardian must authorize participation for anyone under 18. Youth forms may include emergency contact information, allergies, medical notes, photo/video choices, online participation rules, transportation or off-site permissions where applicable, and electronic signature.
Online sessions and conduct
Participants may not record, screenshot, copy, share, or distribute session links, passcodes, participant information, or protected program materials without written permission. Participants must join from a reasonably safe and appropriate location and follow facilitator instructions.
Spa and wellness participation
THE F.I.L.M. may host or coordinate wellness events, but licensed spa providers are responsible for professional screening, service suitability, sanitation, insurance, and performance of services within their license. Participants must disclose allergies, sensitivities, medical precautions, medications relevant to the service, and accommodation needs. Services are subject to provider approval and availability.
Privacy and information choices
Information submitted through the website is used to respond to inquiries, process bookings and registrations, send program information, maintain necessary participation records, and provide requested updates. THE F.I.L.M. does not sell personal information. Newsletter and general marketing communication are optional.
Intellectual property
THE F.I.L.M., First I Love Me™, Paper Doll Program™, Journal Me Free™, program names, curriculum, workbooks, prompts, graphics, and training materials may not be copied, resold, reproduced, taught, distributed, or used commercially without written permission or a license agreement.
Accessibility and accommodations
Accommodation requests should be submitted as early as possible. THE F.I.L.M. will review reasonable requests within the format, location, staffing, and resources available for the offering.
